"I LOVE Mulled Wine Concerts as they are so intimate.
See you soon

The Andrew London Trio
Andrew London, front man and songwriter of the well known band Hot Club Sandwich will open the 2013 Mulled Wine Series on Saturday January 26 at 7pm with his ANDREW LONDON TRIO.
Andrew London's satirical and quirky songs have been the backbone of Wellington trio Hot Club Sandwich's repertoire for over a dozen years. Their humour and gentle cynicism has been heard as far afield as Sydney, Norfolk Island and Saudi Arabia, on National Radio's 'Best Song Ever Written' programme, in a Year 13 English syllabus, and on movie soundtracks including 'Second Hand Wedding'. Drawing from his canon of work with both Hot Club Sandwich and Tui-nominated Kapiti country five -piece the Cattlestops, and introducing a few new as-yet-unrecorded songs, Andrew draws inspiration from pretentious socialites, coffee and rugby culture to household appliances, Frank Sinatra and the curses of aging. Andrew currently performs most often with his own trio featuring Kirsten London on bass, and ex-Hot Club Sandwich saxophonist Nils Olsen, just returned from three years in Germany. As an extra Mulled Wine treat, Gilbert Haisman from Paekakariki will, by invitation add his jazz piano skills to the mix.
